The wine

Vintage 2021
Varieties Garnatxa negra, Garnatxa Blanca, Garnatxa peluda
Harvest Picked by hand in boxes in mid September
Winemaking Co-fermentation in stainless stell, temperature of 26ºC with short macerations and native yeasts.
Ageing Four months on fine lees. 25% in oak barrels and the rest in stainless steel.
Notes Medium layer ruby ??red with violet hints; on the nose red fruits merge with spicy, undergrowth herbs and earthy notes; Horizontal entry with light and rounded tannins; fresh, salty, with a long finish.
Alcohol 14% vol.

Location Finca Mas Vernet
Soils Panal: quaternary fossil dunes with a silty texture, calcareous with a high chalk content
Altitude 350-400m
Density Trained vines with a density of 4200 plants/ha
Management Cover crops planted in alternate rows, vines ploughed mechanically, green pruning and crop thinning for qualitative and quantitative reasons.
Yield 6000 kg/ha
