The wine

Vintage 2022
Varieties Morenillo
Harvest Picked by hand in boxes in early September
Winemaking In stainless steel, slow fermentation at 16ºC with selected yeasts.
Ageing Three months on fine lees: 85% in stainless steel and 15% in oak barrel.
Notes Coral color, with a nose of delicate floral and vegetals. Good balance between body and acidity in the mouth with a slightly tannic sensation, making it an ideal food wine.
Alcohol 13% vol.

The vineyards

Location Finca Mas Vernet
Soils Panal: quaternary fossil dunes with a silty texture, calcareous with a high chalk content
Altitude 350-400m
Density Trained vines with a density of 4200 plants/ha
Management Cover crops planted in alternate rows, vines ploughed mechanically, green pruning and crop thinning for qualitative and quantitative reasons.
Yield 5000-7000 kg/ha
